Last weekend five friends (French, Joe, Alan G., Laup and Iron “PBrozl” Maiden) from all over England came to Hamburg, on Sunday they visited me in my studio. I finally gave French a zine which contains four pages with draings i did while i visited him last year, so here you can see French with portrait drawings i did of him. Come back soon! See his website: Taped Copies.

French: “The Pontus board will be eaten by this skate rat…. sickness!!”

French is the very very best. We are friends since 2004, i met him in London, when he just was kicked out of his ex girlfriends home. We both booked the Marcus Oakley 1968 Hotel in Brixton, had black tea and the Beach Boys there, crazy Oakley Beans on Toast and a fucked up fridge in hot London summer. After this, he came along to Hamburg with BProzel to visit the Wacken Festival and have some Astra beers. The next year he came and had two other crazy english kids in his case, a tiny girl and Alan. Wacken again for them. We visited Leeds Castle together, listened to his old tapes in his kitchen and i got a Manowar Longsleeve for him here when they played a live gig in Hamburg. The last time i saw him was in LA last summer. Cant wait to meet you again French! Visit French and Taped Copies
