French: “The Pontus board will be eaten by this skate rat…. sickness!!”

French is the very very best. We are friends since 2004, i met him in London, when he just was kicked out of his ex girlfriends home. We both booked the Marcus Oakley 1968 Hotel in Brixton, had black tea and the Beach Boys there, crazy Oakley Beans on Toast and a fucked up fridge in hot London summer. After this, he came along to Hamburg with BProzel to visit the Wacken Festival and have some Astra beers. The next year he came and had two other crazy english kids in his case, a tiny girl and Alan. Wacken again for them. We visited Leeds Castle together, listened to his old tapes in his kitchen and i got a Manowar Longsleeve for him here when they played a live gig in Hamburg. The last time i saw him was in LA last summer. Cant wait to meet you again French! Visit French and Taped Copies

Pontus Alv Skateboard – Life Itself is Still Beautiful, originally uploaded by The Lousy Livincompany.

This board just came out, it’s Pontus Alv board on Carhartt. Pontus Alv is one of the greatest persons living on this planet, he is a fantastic skateboarder, artist and friend. He made a skateboard documentary film called “The Strongest of the Strange”, the movie transports an incredible feeling of skateboarding, traveling and romanitc bits of freedom, youth, friendship and the beauty of life in general. I’m very happy to do a skateboard graphic for him. It comes in a limited edition of 100 decks, each numbered. Thanks to Lars from Carhartt, Jean Marie at Jart and Pontus.
